Since first firing up the ovens in September 1992, the master bakers at Zingerman’s Bakehouse have made traditional, hearth baked loaves of bread and full-flavored, straight-forward pastries by hand every day. All their ingredients are ones your grandma would recognize from her own pantry, like organic flour, real butter, real vanilla, fresh eggs, local sour cream, and toasted nuts. The results are tremendously delicious and remarkably consistent. You really can taste the difference.
