So versatile you can brew it too.

An espresso should have a balance of sweet and bitter and should be a pleasure to drink by itself. It should be complex, smooth and superbly balanced. To achieve this, the type of coffee beans have to be chosen and roasted to bring out these characteristics. Making an espresso will amplify whatever is going on with the beans. If the beans are super bright and lively they will probably make an unpleasantly acidic espresso.

By design Brazilian beans coming from Daterra Estates are selected and roasted to produce a rich and hearty espresso, thick with luxurious crema and refined notes of nuts (think hazelnut or roasted Spanish peanuts). What some folks don’t realize is well-roasted espresso beans can be brewed in a drip maker to produce a great cup of coffee that is exceptionally dense, very rich and very smooth.

Roast: Medium.
Tasting Notes: Deep sweetness, bright acidity, lively on the palate. Smooth and rich.
Facts: Roasted fresh by Zingerman’s Coffee Company. Shipped whole bean.

"Medium brew espresso [has] mild, lush taste with notes of caramel."
