Ricciarelli Almond Cookies

The team at Marabissi has been baking cookies for over 70 years in Tuscany, including this holiday classic from Siena. Ricciarelli (pronounced ree-chuh-reh-lee) are soft and chewy oval-shaped cookies bursting with almond flavor, and their cracked surface is dusted with powdered sugar. They practically melt in your mouth.
