Bibamba Orange Chocolate Bark

Bibamba is a bean-to-bar operation like none I’ve ever seen before. The big idea about bean-to-bar chocolate makers is that they travel the world to source the exact cacao beans they want to make their chocolate, rather than buying bulk chocolate from a big company. Patrick and Mara Tcheunou take their work a step further by owning every aspect of the process: from their own cacao farm in Cameroon to their chocolate production in Colorado. That’s taking bean-to-bar production to a whole other level, and the flavor shows in this dark chocolate bark.

Spiked with orange and spices like cinnamon and star anise, this bark sparks more than just your culinary imagination, it delivers a complex and bright flavor you’ll wanna keep nibbling and nibbling till the bag’s all gone.

Zingerman’s Peanut Brittle

Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory isn’t reinventing the wheel, just making it more delicious. This time, it’s a flavor-charged upgrade of classic peanut brittle.

Jumbo Runner peanuts jut like boulders from a shiny, golden candy sea. The texture looks silky but shatters in crisp shards with each bite. To achieve this consistency, the candy cooks make small batches by hand with a watchful eye.

This is stovetop brittle, not factory gristle, with butterscotch-brown flavor, sharp, crackly texture and a finishing savor of roasted peanuts. A small sliver is a wonderful treat. It’s also great if you coarse chop it and toss it onto gelato. Or on savory salads. It’s a surprisingly good pairing with blue cheese.

Golden Milk Goat’s Milk Caramels

Big Picture Farm started in 2010 with a small herd of goats in the hills of southern Vermont. They use their fresh goat’s milk in their little creamery and confectionary. Since the beginning their caramels have won a huge following and lots of awards because they’re so delicious.

Caramels made with goat’s milk have a softer texture than traditional caramels, so you won’t lose a crown chewing one. The golden milk flavor is made with turmeric, ginger, cardamon and pepper and farmstead honey for a cozy, warming, sweet treat.
