This handmade bread's ingredients are organic wheat flour (organic wheat, malted barley), water, raisins, organic Michigan whole rye flour, rye meal, sesame seeds, sea salt, yeast, caraway, and caramelized corn syrup for color.
"I was reading a book a couple weeks ago and a character talked about pumpernickel raisin bread. My weird ass brain said “man pumpernickel raisin bread sounds amazing. I wonder if that’s an actual thing or if the author just made it up?” So I got on my googles and looked it up. I found a bunch of recipes and that made me a little excited but my cooking skills leave a lot to be desired and by that I mean I walk into the kitchen and things tend to spontaneously burst into flames. So I kept scrolling and your lovely website appeared. Lo and behold I could just order a loaf of pumpernickel raisin bread!! So now I’m sitting here enjoying a buttered toasted slice while my beasts look upon me as though they haven’t eaten in weeks. Yes I am a monster and am not sharing."
