Zingerman’s Bakehouse Pastries
Baked at Zingerman’s bakehouse with all-natural ingredients like real butter and organic flour. All of our pastries are baked without preservatives, and each baked good will have an “eat or freeze by” sticker that is about two weeks from when the package started its journey. They can be kept at room temperature. Avoid the refrigerator, it can ruin the texture. For longer term storage, all of our baked goods freeze well for up to three months. They can be stored in the freezer in their original packaging or, if they’ve been opened, double wrapped in plastic bags.
Zingerman’s Peppermint Bark
Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory makes their peppermint bark with a layer of dark chocolate, a layer of white chocolate, and plenty of peppermint candies mixed throughout the chocolate as well as sprinkled on top.
Zingerman’s Spiced Pecans
Made here in our kitchen, whole pecans toasted with butter, lots of freshly ground Tellicherry black pepper, Jamaican allspice, ground ginger, cloves and more. The nuts cluster together in little caramelly-spicy handfuls, making it way too easy to eat too many.
Zingerman’s Hot Cocoa Mix
The cocoa connoisseurs at Zingerman’s Delicatessen spent months formulating, blending, testing and finally packaging our house blend of hot cocoa mix. Made with Guittard chocolate, it’s got deep flavor without being overwhelmingly rich.
Zingerman’s Potato Chips
Zingerman’s potato chips are made by Great Lakes Potato Chip Company in Traverse City and flavored with Epices de Cru Spices. Superior spices paired with small batch potato chips are really, really good.
Half a pound of artisan cheese
The Downeast cheddar from Pineland Farms is everything we love in a New England style cheddar. It’s a great snacking cheese, with a creamy texture and hearty, savory flavors. It can last in the fridge unopened for weeks.
Salami from Red Bear Provisions
Made with humanely sourced meat and traditionally cured by our friends at Red Bear Provisions in Illinois. Hours or even days at warmer temperatures won’t harm it a bit. But once it arrives, it’s best to keep it refrigerated to store it for longer.
Chocolate Covered Torrone Candy Bar
From the Piedmont in Northern Italy, a candy-bar sized slab of crispy, crunchy hazelnut torrone nougat that’s been enrobed in rich dark chocolate.
