French bread with whole grains

Our take on a traditional French country bread, or “miche”, is made of a flavorful multi-grain mix of stone-ground wheat, freshly milled rye flour, freshly milled spelt flour, and whole buckwheat, all naturally leavened by its own unique starter. Then it's baked to a dark caramelized crust giving it natural sweetness and extra flavor. The whole process takes about 18 hours. The result is a deep and complex flavor.

This handmade bread's ingredients are water, organic wheat flour, organic whole rye flour, organic whole grain spelt, organic buckwheat, organic wheat flour (organic wheat, malted barley), organic whole wheat flour, and sea salt.

Our Bakehouse recently changed the shape and size of this bread: it is now a 1.5 lb loaf instead of a 2 lb round.
